Who We Are

INERT is a beverage brand operated as a DBA by Novathor Holdings LLC, located in Bismarck, North Dakota, USA. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share information when you visit drinkINERT.com (the "Site") and join our waitlist. By using the Site, you agree to the practices described here.

What We Collect

We collect a limited amount of information, and only what we need to operate a pre-launch waitlist:

Email address. When you join the waitlist, we collect the email address you submit.
Usage and device data. Through analytics and advertising tools, we automatically collect information such as your IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed, referring website, and how you interact with the Site.
Cookies and similar tracking technologies. See Cookies & Tracking below.

We do not currently sell any products, and we do not collect payment or financial information through this Site.

How We Use It

We use the information we collect to:

Add you to our waitlist and send you updates about INERT's launch.
Send marketing emails you have opted into (you can unsubscribe at any time).
Understand how visitors find and use the Site so we can improve it.
Measure and optimize our advertising on platforms like Meta and TikTok.
Protect the Site against fraud, abuse, and technical problems.

Third Parties

We share information with a small number of service providers that help us run the Site and our waitlist. Each operates under its own privacy policy:

Kit (formerly ConvertKit) — email collection and marketing.
Meta (Facebook/Instagram) — the Meta Pixel for advertising and conversion measurement.
TikTok — the TikTok Pixel for advertising and conversion measurement.
Netlify — website hosting.
Cloudflare — domain, DNS, and network/security services.

We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our legal rights.

Cookies & Tracking

The Site uses cookies and similar technologies, including the Meta Pixel and TikTok Pixel, to understand site traffic and to measure and target advertising. These tools may set cookies on your device and collect identifiers tied to your browsing.

You can control or opt out of this tracking in several ways:

Adjust your browser settings to block or delete cookies.
Use your device's "Limit Ad Tracking" / "Opt out of personalized ads" controls.
Manage ad preferences directly with Meta and TikTok.
Use the Digital Advertising Alliance opt-out at optout.aboutads.info.

Email & Opt-Out

When you join the waitlist, you are opting in to receive emails from INERT. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can opt out at any time. You may also email us at hello@drinkinert.com to be removed. We will honor opt-out requests promptly.

Data Retention

We keep your email address for as long as you remain on our waitlist or until you ask us to delete it. If you unsubscribe, we may retain a minimal record needed to honor your opt-out and to comply with our legal obligations. Analytics and advertising data are retained according to the policies of the third-party providers listed above.

Children

The Site is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 16 (or under 13 where applicable). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us at hello@drinkinert.com and we will delete it.

California Rights (CCPA/CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you may have the right to request access to, or deletion of, the personal information we hold about you, and to not be discriminated against for exercising those rights.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising in exchange for money. To exercise any privacy right, email us at hello@drinkinert.com.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes will be reflected here, and your continued use of the Site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
